CBSE Extended Deadline To Update Information

Recently CBSE made an announcement to extend the deadline of updating information relating to school. The deadline now extended from 30th Nov 2016 to 15 Dec 2016. Around 18,000 CBSE affiliated schools across the country are requested to update the information relating to the development, infrastructure, facilities and other important detail. Out of that 13,500 schools already updated the information in the specified deadline. They all are requested to make the updation on the official website. This has been made as a mandatory for all the CBSE affiliated schools.

Motive behind this –

  • 1. The main motive behind this is to bring transparency in the overall the functionality of the school. Parents and stakeholders can have better overview relating to important information pertaining to school.
  • 2. This has been made mandatory for all the CBSE affiliated school. So, that CBSE authority can have the clear view on the infrastructure and other information.
  • 3. Parents get the detail knowledge about the school before opting the school for their children.
  • 4. CBSE also instructed all the CBSE affiliated school to provide important information on their website. So, the student, parents and other can have brief overview about the school.

  • 4. School photographs with class rooms and building and playground
  • 5. Management members
  • 6. Number of students passed in last 3 years
  • 7. Affiliation status
