Very Soon Chandigarh Schools Having Digital Payment Facility

V.P. Singh Badnore U.T. administrator of Chandigarh held a meeting in relation to have the Digital Payment system in all the Private schools of Chandigarh. All the representative of private school attended this meeting. V.P Singh discussed in detail all the available cashless payment options. Due to demonetization people were facing lot more challenges and to sort this issue V.P. Singh decided to introduce the “Digital Payment” method in all the private school of Chandigarh region. In this meeting the more focus was given to the plastic money and digital payment like credit card, debit card, E-wallet and more. All schools were requested to implement “digital payment” facility and helped Chandigarh to become the first cashless city. All the representative of the schools showed positive response and very soon they were going to implement the same payment facility in their schools.

Member of the U.T. administration focused on training and implementation part of the Digital Payment system. Every schools were requested to share the list of teachers and students to get trained on this new payment method. Every schools can send 2 teachers and 1 student for training. This name should be submitted to district education officer. District education officer would submit the list to the deputy commissioner. This training help schools to implement this new payment system effectively. The main reason for training student was to pass this new payment system to other part of the society and create awareness about it.
