Google Penguin 4.0 – Run in Real Time and will be The Last Update

On 23rd Sept 2016, Google announced Penguin 4.0 algorithm update. Google says now Penguin will run in real time as a part of core search algorithm.

The last penguin update was recorded 2 years back. This is one of the major update and going to be the last Penguin update. As it is going to be the part of core search algorithm and run in real time.

We already explain in detail Google Penguin Update. The first update was recorded in year 2012. The main motive of penguin update is to filter the sites that have spammy back links.

Penguin 4.0 is a good sign for all the websites that was hit by last update. Now they can be free from Penguin.

Is Penguin 4.0 is 100% live?

The Google Penguin 4.0 is not fully lived. It is still rolling out and it takes more time (few weeks) to live. Google not yet confirmed how much time it takes.

Is Penguin 4.0 is much faster?

The new update is compare to be very fast and you can see the results are much faster. The most important thing about penguin 4.0 is that it is more pages specific this time not sites specific.

Now ranking of web pages will be evaluated on the basis of spam signal passed by Penguin. Not the whole website will be affected only page that violates penguin guidelines we be the victim of this update. But it does not mean that it will not hit the complete website. If a website not following the guidelines and having spammy backlinks Penguin can hit the complete website as well.
